In 2019, I bought a plant from a stand at a community event. I didn't know this when I bought it, but it was a golden pothos, and it would be the first plant I was ever able to keep alive. A little while later, I added a monstera and a peace lily to my home and discovered that caring for plants gave me a tremendous amount of joy, and having them around made it a more peaceful place.One of my favorite places to pray is looking out my kitchen window, which gets the best sun and, of course, the best plants. The greenery helps make it a spiritual place for me, and I want other people to have their own green chapel. Caring for plants has a way of slowing us down, grounding us to the earth, and bringing life into our homes.I love to help people find the right plants for their home, but my real passions are talking about plants, teaching plant care, and showing people that anyone can find peace in a plant.
